Praised as having “amazing talent” by the Australian TV and described as being “impossibly virtuosic and brilliant” by the Indiana University Music Newsletter, pianist Vicky Yang continues to impress audiences with her elegant and poetic performances, while charming them with her artistry, dazzling technique, and a personal charisma. Vicky Yang is currently the founder and director of Volteggiando Music with duet partner Maggie Chen. Apart from being a concert pianist, Vicky has been adjudicating Piano Competitions, auditions, scholarship across the nation. Many of her students are winners of prestigious scholarship, awards and competitions. Vicky has performed piano solo with orchestra and ensembles in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Germany, France, Vienna, Italy, Switzerland, London, Canada and the United States, including New York, Baltimore, New Jersey, Indiana, Cincinnati and others. As well as adjudicating competitions and audition, Vicky is also an active chamber musician, performing her own works where she has appeared to TV shows and completed recordings for 4MBS, ABC radio and other radio stations in both USA and Taiwan |
